TOPIC: The Necessity Of Constant Diet Of The Word (Seeds Of Destiny 27 March 2023)
SCRIPTURE: I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. 1 John 2:14.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The diet of the Word guarantees spiritual strength needed to overcome the wicked one.
MESSAGE:
The Word of God is to the Spirit of man, what physical food is to the body. Just as physical food nourishes and strengthens the body, the Word of God nourishes and strengthens the spirit of man.
A constant diet of the Word of God is the guarantee of spiritual strength. The diet of the Word guarantees spiritual strength needed to overcome the wicked one.
1 John 2:14 says;
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
The Word of God gives you the capacity not to end as a victim of life’s circumstances. That means, when you are not worded, it is easy to become an easy target or casualty of spiritual warfare. But when you are worded, you are not permitted to be defeated by the wicked one.
Beloved, if you have been threatened by the wicked one, I decree that your victory is guaranteed as you immerse yourself in the Word in this season.
Another advantage of a steady diet of the Word is the guarantee of spiritual strength for exploits.
The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32b). When you have spiritual strength, you do things that make people wonder and ponder? Exploits are attention-commanding results.
Daniel 11:32b says,
…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Beloved, I decree the release of spiritual strength on your life via the agency of the Word of God, in Jesus’ Name.
My counsel is, study the Word God consistently; listen to the preached Word of God on CDs, MP3s, DVDs. You can also read gospel literature or books written by anointed and proven servants of God.
Remember this: The diet of the Word guarantees spiritual strength needed to overcome the wicked one.

PRAYER: Help me Lord, to be addicted to Your Word. Give me an encounter as I study Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
