Nigerian gospel music minstrel and recording artiste, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, has released a new single titled "Tobechukwu," a joyful and danceable song that expresses gratitude for God's goodness and kindness.
The single features Mercy Chinwo Blessed, known for her hit song “Excess Love,” The title of the song, which is in the Igbo language spoken in the Eastern region of Nigeria, translates to mean “Praise God” in the English language.
Pastor Nathaniel Bassey references Isaiah 44:23 of the New King James Version of the Bible, which reads, “Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth; Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, And glorified Himself in Israel.”
