Wisdom For The Day Devotional 22 November 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Change Your Environment

TOPIC: Change Your Environment (TREM Devotional 22 November 2022)

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” Genesis 12:1 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Sometimes, the environment that you find yourself can be responsible for the reason why things fail to open up in your life. We find ourselves in a restrictive environment where every effort you put in fails to yield any positive result. We are ordained by heaven to defy every restrictive environment that we find ourselves and to surmount every opposition.

God told Abram when he called him, get thee out of thy country, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, unto a land that I will show you. You need to get out of your present environment if you will enter the type of blessing that I have ordained for you. If anything will affect you and stop you from getting into the big things that you have been predestined for, it is your present environment that does not align with the word of God. So, change your environment, change your crowd, and change the company that you keep. The space that you circulate in can be responsible for shutting down your destiny.

Look at what Jesus did, he took the man that was deaf and dumb aside from the multitude (Mark 7:33). There are some environments that you can’t stay in and expect your victory and your miracle. Never stay around people who do not encourage your faith. Do not stay in an environment of fear and expect to be bold. It can never happen. You don’t stay in an environment of murmuring and complaining and expect that things will turn out good. You can’t stay in an environment that people are not joyful and expect to be joyous. The scripture tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. You can’t stay in a negative environment and expect an opening into a bright future.

Genesis 12: 1-4, 2 Corinthians 6:14-17

Daily Bible Reading:
Morning – Ezekiel 18-19,
Evening – James 4

DAILY CONFESSIONS: November 20th – November 26th

The Lord has opened the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on my land in this new month and to bless my home and all the works of my hands and I will lend unto many nations, and I will not borrow (Deu 28: 12,).

I know that all things work together for my good because I love God, and because I am called according to His purpose. In everything I give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning me (Rom. 8:28; 1 Thess. 5:18). The Lord has assured me that He will never leave me nor forsake me, so that I can boldly say, The Lord is my helper; and I shall not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:5-6)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.

IT IS MY WEEK OF ACCELERATION!
