TOPIC: Your Thought And Your Faith
God does not only hear and answer words; He hears and answers thoughts.
SCRIPTURE: And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. Matthew 9:20-21
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God does not only hear and answer words; He hears and answers thoughts.
It has been confirmed that there is a relationship between a man’s thought and his faith.
The woman with the issue of blood, from our anchor Scripture, said within herself. That was thought. Now, what she thought inside her was what occurred to her. This means, thinking is speaking. Even though you didn’t say a thing with your mouth, your thought is saying it. Luke 12:17 says,
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
I would like you to take note of these key thoughts on the power of thoughts and how it affects faith:
i. Until you have control over your thought, you have no control over your faith (Philippian 4:13)..
Until you have control over your thought, you have no control over your faith because your faith is linked to your thought. When a thought arises and tells you it is not possible, you tell it, it is possible.
ii. Until the mind is renewed, life is never upgraded (Romans 12:1-2).
You need a positive change of mind to upgrade your life.
iii. God does not only answer words, He answers thoughts.
God does not only hear and answer words; He hears and answers thoughts.
Ephesians 3:20says,
Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
So, permit positive thoughts from Scriptures to flow through your mind on a continuous basis. Reject negative thoughts in order not to downgrade your life.
Remember this: God does not only hear and answer words; He hears and answers thoughts.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for opening my eyes to see Your Word today. I receive the grace and discipline to fill my heart with Your Word always, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
