The Seasoning ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: The Seasoning [Saturday March 25, 2017]
“For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.” (Mark 9:49)
Every sacrifice you put on the altar must be salted. Salt is a spice and seasoning. It means your sacrifice must have a good smell and a sweet taste. God wants to perceive the aroma and savour of your sacrifice. So, what type of salt do you put on your sacrifice? Would it be the salt you buy from local markets? I don’t think so. The book of Romans tell us that the salt in question is made up of righteousness, peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17-18).
Therefore, any man who in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost renders services to Christ has placed acceptable sacrifices on God’s altar. If your sacrifices do not have the qualities mentioned above, you haven’t salted them well.
I may not know who you are but let those who are laughing at you laugh all they want. All you have to do is connect to God’s altar and offer Him well-salted sacrifices. It doesn’t matter how bad your family is. You have something in you. Everyone may be against your family but God loves you and your sacrifices. Nobody may want to see you but God wants you around His altar all the time. Nobody may want to bless you but God has blessed you already. His blessing on your life will force the hands of people to bless and favour you. Burn with zeal for God, and again, I say burn.
WORD OF WISDOM: When you have what is acceptable to God, it will set what you need on your table.
PRAYER/CONFESSSION: The LORD will enjoy my sacrifice. I have salted it withrighteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost
