Our Focus: Confessing Your Sins
He who covers his sin will not prosper but he that confesses shall obtain mercy. Learn to admit when you are wrong. Tell God your sins. Tell him where you messed up. Don’t polish yourself righteous when you know you are wrong.
He who hides his sin and project himself righteous is a hypocrite. God hate such. A righteous man is not a man without sin, but a man who acknowledges his sin and seeks mercy for it.Don’t be too self-righteous. When you see wrong admit it and you will find favour.
If you offend someone kindly seek his or her mercy. Don’t pretend you are not wrong when you are.It is an expression of pride which takes to destruction. A good Christian is willing to admit his wrong and seek mercy.Until you live in such pattern you will not find God’s favour in life.
Anywhere you have gone wrong before God, this morning humbly go on your kneel and ask Him to forgive you. As you confess to Him, He is your loving father, He will have mercy on you and not cast you away forever.
Those who confess their fault are liable to possess God’s mercy.
Prayer: Father, forgive all my sins, I have wronged you in several ways,I need your mercy oh Lord, do not reject my plea. Help me never to repeat them my gracious father, thank you for accepting me.
