You should have been in the audience when Chris Shalom ministered his yet to be released new single titled “Power Belongs to You” at the Believers Loveworld New Year Eve Service to a rave reception!
Fresh off the release of “You are the Reason” and as a final phase before the release of the very much anticipated album, Music minister Chris Shalom is set to release another phenomenal worship song.
Chris Shalom who said the album is ready and that the majority are already clamouring for it hinted that this new single titled “Power Belongs to You” is more or less a sequel to “You are the Reason” and not only that, he sees the new single as the new level of elevation considering that “You are the Reason” became quite popular amongst singers, worship leaders and denominations.
According to Chris Shalom;
“’Power Belongs to You’ was inspired by the Holy Ghost. It is a simple, sing-along worship song in the Alternative/Soft Rock genre. It came to me in the place of prayer and I just relayed what the Spirit gave to me.”
Chris Shalom released the video for “You are the Reason” on the 30th of October 2014. “Power Belongs to You” is the phase that crowns the album release which according to Chris Shalom, will be released at the end of February. He ministered the song during the Believers Loveworld New Year Eve Service and received an overwhelming reception and feedback that lingered to his social media pages.
Chris Shalom is a song writer, music producer, and dynamic vocalist. He also plays the keyboard excellently and has coordinated several Christ Embassy choirs in the course of his journey on this path. He is ever grateful to God and to his mentor, teacher and father, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Phd. who has been a major inspiration and dubbed him “the Golden Voice”.
