Our Text: Mal 2:13

And this is the second thing you do: you cover the alter of the Lord with tears, with weeping and crying; so He does not regard the offering anymore, nor receive it with good will from your hands”.

Our Focus: God Will Not Accept Polluted Offering

God is not a beggar desiring offering anyhow from people. Remember, the earth is the Lords and its fullness thereof (Psa.24). God does not accept polluted offering from people. Can I ask you a question? Do you love to accept gift from people who work against you? I mean those who love to do what you hate! I guess you don’t! 

When you bring offering to God’s alter and your life is against Him, your offering is polluted. God does not respect the offering of those who does not respect His will. If you are a fornicator, liar and cheater, your offering means nothing to God, except you drop that attitude.

The offering that counts most to God is our holy and right living. This means more to God than any amount of money you can offer. When your life is not pleasing to Him, your offering to Him is polluted. No matter how many times you drop huge donations in church if your life style is not right, your donation is polluted. God appreciate right living with good giving. Giving with living right is relevant to God.

The way we live is more important to God than what we give. If you trick people, Steal money in your office and bring to church your seed (offering) is polluted. It is not acceptable to God .Your pastor may accept and hail you, but God is angry with you. Until your source of money is clean, whatever you offer to God is unclean.

This is my charge to you this year, make sure the source of your money is clean so God can accept you and your offering. May you never offer polluted offering.

5 Prayer Points For Today

1. Father, thank you for this insight, thanks for opening my eyes to this clean truth. 

Help me to abide by it oh gracious father.

2. Give me the grace to live a Holy and righteous life. So you can accept my person and 

my offering.

3. Help me to be careful how I make my money .So I don’t offer you polluted offering.       

4. Let my heart convict me whenever I do what is wrong so I can adjust to secure your favour in my dealing with you this year.

5. Let my tithes and offering this year be holy and acceptable to you, so I can command bountiful favour on every side in 2015.I shall not put my hands in shady business; let my earning be holy, sweet and acceptable to you. I shall not collect bribery or adulterous money in Jesus name I pray.
