“A son honors his father. And a servant his master. If then I am his father, where is my honor? And if I am a master where is my reverence? Says the Lord of hosts…”
Our Focus: Grace To Honour The Lord
We all need grace to honour Him more this year. A good and faithful son values his father. This year we must exercise ourselves to honour him more. Remember, if you honour him, He will honour you in return. If you honour Him, He will bless you beyond your expectation.
A key to God’s favour this year is your ability to honour him greatly. Those who will lift Him high will not be left in low places of life! God’s floods of blessing is reserved for all those who will honour him.
How do you honour Him? Praise Him greatly from your heart. Let your soul lift Him high in true worship. No matter how you feel, worship Him. Be determine to exalt Him irrespective of what is happening to you. The more you praise Him, the higher His favour will be on you.
Also, honour Him in your giving. Offer Him your substance, bless him with your first fruits (your best earning at the beginning of the year) offer Him. This shows how much you value Him. Just as Abel honoured Him with his first fruits, God honoured him in return until he became subject of envy to Cain. When you honour Him, He will take you to an enviable height this year!
Honour His representatives. One of the ways you respect God, is to value those that represent Him for you. His prophets, your parent and your masters. Value those people as you are in directly honouring God. I see God positioning you this year on an enviable height. You shall be honoured on every side this year as you honor Him, Go ahead and pray the prayer points below.
1. Father, I need the grace to honour you this year with all my heart. Let my spirit sing of your worship every moment this year.
2. Give me the grace to honour you with my first fruit so I don’t miss my special blessings this year. As my first fruit comes to you, you shall place me in the first place of life as Abel over took Cain in favour.
3. I need grace to honour those who represent you in my life, my prophet, my parent and my superiors. Let me not be arrogant so I don’t suffer demotion and stagnation this year.
4. Lord as I honour you, help me escape all horror in 2015. I shall never experience the evil in this year. I shall go through this year honourably!
5. Take me to a point I shall command envy this year. Let my life be bless with great honour on every side in 2015!
