OUR FOCUS: WHAT WILL YOU MAKE PEOPLE IF THEY FOLLOW YOU
Let me start with this old wonderful song we sang in children class many years ago. I don’t know if you know it, you can sing with me:

Oh what a great song. The question this morning to all of us is, what will people become if they follow our footsteps?
As a Father, Mother, Preacher, Teacher, Lawyer or whoever you may be what will people become if they follow your lifestyle? Will you produce good or bad followers from the kind of the person you are?A mother who sleep around with men, if your daughters follow suit, what kind of women will they be? Prostitute I guess! Will you be happy to produce prostitute for the society?
A drunkard father, what will your children be if they follow you, drunkard like you off course! Will you be happy with that? Let’s all think this morning.
If people follow you what will they become? If you don’t have good values, you will produce horrible followers. For our society to be better, we must have great and good leaders. Corrupt leaders will largely produce corrupt citizens. Good leaders can influence the citizens faster. May the LORD make us good leaders that will make this generation better!

Prayer: Father makes a good leader that will produce better followers for you. Help me live well so those following me can follow well to the end!
