Singer, songwriter, producer, and author L. Spenser Smith has announced the official release date for his debut solo project. Known for his work with his famed choir Testament, Smith is slated to release Unstoppable on October 14, 2014. The project is led by his current single “My Life”, which is currently impacting radio and is available at all digital outlets.
Smith is best known as the leader of the aggregation Testament, whose hit “Surgery” led to a Stellar award nomination in 2009. He is the pastor of the Alabama based Impact Nation Fellowship Church and author of the books The Altar’ed Life and Getting Ready For Love. In 2012, he released the debut project for his church choir, The Impact Nation Choir titled The IN Times, featuring guest appearances from Jason Nelson, Chrystal Rucker, Tonya Baker, and more.
This new effort is also the debut for Smith’s new imprint Smithworx Music Group which is distributed by eOne Music Group (Read more here). With production from Dana Sorey, Unstoppable also serves as Smith’s first live recording.
