D'priest is described as an artiste with the
golden voice and a passion for writing songs. As a child he grew up being
exposed to different genres of music. His earliest influences were Panam Percy
Paul, Don Moen, Ron Kennoly.
D'priest joined the choir in his parents church
at age 8 and has since grown musically. He is a serious guitar twicker. He had
his early education in Lagos and proceeded to the
University of Calabar where he obtained a
bachelors degree in microbiology. Presently, he is studying music production at
the new song music college Lagos and is also a choir director in one of Christ
embassy churches in Lagos.
He has shared the stage with acts such as
Eben, Frank Edwards, Obi Shine, Chris Shallom,
Rooftop mcs, to mention but a few. He currently has an album titled
100%zionboi that has powerful songs such as "okaka"and"make
yanga"
