As a Gospel recording artist, Chicago Mass Choir has made major strides with their music with National radio, television and news coverage. In addition to their musical accomplishments, Chicago Mass Choir has also been committed to promoting excellence and unity in the community.
On, Saturday, July 19th, Chicago Mass Choir will perform during the South Side Neighborhood Gospel Fest in Chicago, IL. The Southside Neighborhood Gospel Fest is a Mayor Rahm Emanuel “Summer of Faith in Action” Event and will take place in Ogden Park-6700 S. Racine, from 11am-6pm.
The South Side Neighborhood Gospel Fest will be a live performance stage, featuring many National and local Gospel artists from across the country.
Chicago Mass Choir will unite with other Gospel Artists in efforts of encouraging the youth, local community and attendees, through song and positive involvement.
The South Side Neighborhood Gospel Fest is an annual event and this year’s theme is “Stop the Violence and Put Down the Guns”.
Several members of Chicago Mass Choir have been affected by gun violence within their families and the choir has been committed to encouraging the community through workshops and donations.
Chicago Mass Choir is encouraging families from the Chicago area to attend the South Side Neighborhood Gospel Fest on July 19th for a positive time of music, prayer and positive unified activities.
