Ukobong Ekaette, whose stage name is "Daphne" hails from Ibesikpo-Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. Daphne is a born-again , Spirit filled Christian, an addicted worshiper and a God chaser with unreserved love for Him and His kingdom. Daphne is a prolific song writer, vocalist, praise/worship leader and a stage performer. Daphne is more than an artist - he is a God's messenger, an ambassador of Jesus Christ. Daphne is running with a well defined and articulated vision and Ministry designed and entrusted to Him by God, which have haunted him for ten years now. That sanctified vision driving Daphne's Ministry is to, "enthrone God's kingdom in human hearts in the nations of the earth and to empower and stir up God's people with the knowledge, power, wisdom and revelations of His Spirit to fulfill their preordained purposes on earth", using music as the instrument. Though this is his debut album, a ten track CD titled - Flying Higher, Daphne has more than 200 unreleased Holy Ghost anointed songs.
Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany and a Post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Management. He also holds the Botanic Garden Conservation Internationally accredited Diploma in Botanic Garden Education from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, United Kingdom. He is very successful in his young career, and currently works in the private sector as an environmental management and sustainable development consultant. Daphne currently serves God in the choir in Living Faith Church, aka - Winners' Chapel in Finima, Bonny Island in Rivers State, Nigeria. Daphne’s life has been so much influenced by the lives and Ministries of God’s servants like Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Christ Oyakhilome, Dr. Panam Percy Paul, Dr. Myles Munroe, Bob Fit. God's kingdom must be enforced: Romans 8: 19; "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God"
