The Soweto Gospel Choir has inked a deal with Universal Music's Classics label in the United States that will see the groups current album, Divine Decade, distributed throughout North America.

Since their formation in 2002, Soweto Gospel Choir has racked up a string of accolades that would be the envy of even the biggest global pop star.

Universal Music Classics is proud to be part of the Choir's 10th Anniversary celebration as we release Divine Decade in conjunction with their Spring 2014 US tour.”

The choir's 10th Anniversary Celebration US tour kicks off in Florida on Tuesday, 4 February 2014 before rolling across America over two and half months and ending in Arizona on Saturday, 19 April 2014. Soweto Gospel Choir's sixth album, Divine Decade, which celebrates the groups 10th anniversary, was released to critical and commercial acclaim earlier in 2013. It features collaborations with a host of international and national stars including among others, U2, Zahara, Elvis Blue, Robert Plant, Johnny Clegg and Yvonne Chaka Chaka with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
