“ And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees.Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”
Our Focus: The Lord Will Destroy The Root Of Your Problem
Root is the source of a tree. It also could mean the source of something. When you want to destroy a tree, the best way to do that is to destroy the root. Problems you did not deal with from the root will persist. Every problem has a root (source). Whatever problem in your life has a root, and if you do not find the root, you cannot handle the problem.
For example I heard of a couple who suffered bareness for 13years. All medical diagnosis shows nothing was wrong with them. But one night in a fervent intercession, they cried to God agonizingly to address their bareness from the root. That same day, the Lord visited their village and killed 80 old women which were all witches.
Do you know the shocking part of the story? The man’s mother was the 8th witch, before she died she confessed how the eight of them took her daughter-in-law’s womb on the night of their engagement. The man could not believe his mother was the root of his problem (Barrenness). After her death the woman took in and gave birth to twin. Whoa, the root of their problem has been destroyed!
Sometime the root of your problem can be certain mistake you made in the past. That means you need GREAT MERCYto help you deal with it. When a problem persist in your life, you need God to help you deal with it from the root. Remember you cannot see the root on the surface. It will require God to scan and detect what the cause of your problem is as well threat it for you.
Can you say this, ”Father, I need you to help me detect and deal with the root of my problem. If it’s my mistake in the past, help me Lord. Have mercy on me and deliver me from this trouble. If anyone knows about this trouble in my life, whoever oh lord arise and judge so I can be free. Thank you father for Your intervention I shall be free from now in Jesus Christ name I pray!”
The problem you did not deal with the root will continue to persist
